On the face of it the game gives a refreshing face lift to the current standard in online graphics, as with most gamers the rendering of games from online to offline can differ greatly, no better example than Call of Duty Black Ops, the campaign mod is not too sore on the eyes, but when you join your first game you can see a clear "Sticle Brick" rendering.
Crysis on the other hand is far more visually appealing, water effects are stunningly rendered, also the weapons and armor are up to par with off line graphics, to compliment this the charter controls are more realistic, there is not just front, back, side to side, and jump and dive. now we can jump, dive catch and climb attack from the air, all this while using active camo, max armor or nano vision to clock kills.
Personally i found the migration from current gen FPS game hard, but it grows with time, another feature i am interested with is the game incorporate a 3d option, a sign of things to be? this had been active on the pc market for some years now but not revived well due to the cost of the 3d device, but with 3d TV's on the rise it could be a trend.
