Halo reach (beta)

Halo reach beta
Ok first off sorry for the lack of updates, exams and crap.
This is another tough nut to crack! On the whole the game plays very well, getting use the new control layout was a bit weird and the transition consisted of a few rage quits, but after that drama I soon seen the layout made sense. Most of the Halo haters out there do not enjoy the idea of reach as they say it is in essence the same game as any of its predecessors, but apart from the name it feels like a totally new game, the addition of the armour abilities is the main cause of this.
The armour abilities managed to turn a stale first person shooter into an exciting class based team shooter, now I should stress team! Each armour ability has good and bad points, but by far the most important note is it promotes team work, an asset missing from other games like CoD, take this for an example.
I was playing with the guard class, who comes with the armour lock ability. The first time I used it I ran ahead of my team punched and shot a guy to death, but then got cornered, I thought ARMOUR LOCK (in a big man voice), and like a real hard man I punched the ground, WIN! I thought but I was too far ahead of my team, when I snapped out of lock mode I got butt raped by half the red team. After a while I learned to let my team stay with me so when I was in lock I would have backup coming out of it, it worked a treat.
All the classes are designed in a way to support each other and it is a main point to the gameplay.
Now for some downsides to the beta!
Like HALO 1, 2, 3, and odst everybody is grenade happy, people toss them like it’s a south African dollar, they only thing that will kill you more than grenades is inexperience, my first time playing it I was trying to learn the ropes of the new maps and game modes, but there is always one guy who knows where everything spawns, so I got grav-hammered.....ALOT!, to avoid this I advise two things, the first is look to see who always goes for the shiny guns and message them asking nicely not to be a complete fag and try get a kill with a weapon that is not powerful enough to take down tom cruise’s ego, or team up check the gamertag and alert you team, after enough team butt hurt they should rage quite.
As for buying the game, i played for about 4 hours and never played the same game mode on the same map, so it scores some brownie points there!
These are my thoughts on the Halo reach Beta, now give me feedback!

Supreme commander 2

Supreme commander 2
Ok I’m going to rage! I’m sick of other game critics saying RTS games like halo wars and such don’t work on console because of the controller, I’m going to ask you a question, when you played age of empires did you really use all the hot keys? ALL OF THEM!, no u liar u used the mouse, which was 2 buttons and a scroll!
Why can’t we do this on console? We over complicate everything, this brings me to Supreme commander 2, it’s like RT select RS move then LT opens command wheel, then LS to select action, pardon the French but CUM THE FUCK ON!
Also the game mechanics are weird, you are given one big robot that does everything and removes the need for anything else, except for the fact it moves like a pensioner to a slayer concert, very fucking slowly and regrettably, maybe it should have never made that bet in Vagas.
I played one mission and was able to curb stomp the bitchs with a base unit, like no upgrades and never advanced the level, how is this possible?  I think the difficulty was thought of my a person how struggled with a “ BALL ON A PADDLE”.

Call of duty Black ops speculation

Call of duty Black ops speculation
This is going to be a long article, as it is pure speculation. (put some music on)

Ok so Treyarch is doing this one under activision, there is the first problem, correct me if im wrong but did they ever make a half decent game? Or do they always half ass it? I mean they have leached off WWII so much, it got old, do the Nazis not always lose in the end? Maybe i ruined the ending for the next game just there, even if it is modern.
This is a studio how are going to meet a very solid wall when they realise WWIII is not in the history books....yet, I can’t recall one ground breaking invention from this franchise, what im trying to say over all the layers of rage froth foaming from my mouth is they are frightfully under qualified for the task of filling IW’s shoes, this leads to other concerns, will Black ops be a “COPY.....PASTE” job.
The teaser is already a rip-off COD MW2 they are basically the same. MW2 was very cryptic but people could make out that there ware was an airport, Russians and guns, That was enough, Black ops on the other hand....Well i think the protagonist just got plastic surgery and is very unhappy with it.
Now the fun part, i shall rub my crystal balls (coffee accident) and predict the Black ops game, there will be a shot training intro, then suddenly action, a brief encounter with one or more vehicles, a plot twist, some sniping, then a very anti-climatic ending, one could argue it’s my average weekend, This is true but my weekends are original, and don’t depend on millions of people dying so i can try tell a story, well there was that one time....... SORRY JEWS.

HALO....GOOD BYE

HALO....GOOD BYE
The news was a bit weird at first, why would Activision want to buy out bungie? Does it want to control its rival to the largest online game? Perhaps to fill the void left by the breakup of infinity ward, this means more to the Halo fans than the cod ones.
Halo reach launched its beta today, and with it I launch this bleak message, it will be without a doubt the last halo game, it will defiantly be the last exclusive title for xbox, you might think that’s not bad.
Well its very unlikely any halo game will be released on ps3, for example we all seen the ending of halo 3, its very open to a halo 4, but that will never happen now as the playstation section will not have had the first 3 games, it’s a bit of a blow to the gaming community as a whole, we had a flurry of games from halo these years but I think this is a chapter that’s just been closed.
On the Brightside I do hope the imagination and experience of bungie can help out a peccariesly placed activision, who are still in turmoil from the loss of infinity ward, and are in court for royalties and unpaid bonuses.
